The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position

 

Instructor of the Department of Stomatology of the Faculty of Medicine MU and St. Anne's Faculty Hospital

The Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University is a prestigious educational and scientific institution. The Department of Stomatology is a joint workplace of the Medical Faculty of MU and the University Hospital at St. Anny, which, in addition to providing medical care, carries out educational, scientific, and research activities. In terms of education, it primarily provides practical training in medical and other healthcare fields.

The scope of your work will be:

  • leading practical exercises in the modernly equipped Simulation Center of MUNI and in the training room of the Department of Stomatology,
  • assistance with theoretical education and organization of mandatory practices,
  • assistance with coordinating the organization of theoretical and practical education,
  • participation in theoretical and practical undergraduate education conducted at the workplace,
  • preparation of study and teaching materials,
  • involvement in research and development activities, including contributing to publishing activities,
  • participation in the organizational support of research and teaching activities, including related administrative tasks.

 

Required qualification:

  • healthcare higher education at least with a Bachelor's degree in the field of dental hygiene or dentistry;
  • active proficiency in Czech or Slovak language at a communicative level;
  • knowledge of English language is welcomed;
  • ability to work in a team;
  • active approach, initiative, and willingness for further education; 
  • reliability, accuracy, and organizational skills;
  • personal and moral integrity;
  • experience in the field, with teaching, and publishing or scientific activities is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Contract Type: Full-time Employment for a Fixed Term of 1 year, with the possibility of extension upon mutual satisfaction

Workload: Minimum workload of 32 hours per week (0.8), up to 40 hours per week (1.0)

Expected Start Date: During July to September 2024
