Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Radiology IT Director, performs duties designed to maximize the utilization of Enterprise Imaging applications.
Responsible for the day-to-day applications support of Enterprise Imaging applications, which includes Radiology applications (e.g. PACS, dictation system), the Clinical Enterprise Imaging VNA, and Enterprise Viewer. Support related tasks may include modality workflow, archiving, quality assurance of data, viewing of diagnostic images through the EMR, and other related activities. Works closely with other IT personnel, PACS personnel, and Clinical Department Managers and Supervisors to ensure proper operation of diagnostic image data transfer into the Clinical Enterprise Imaging VNA as well as viewing of diagnostic images using the Enterprise Viewer throughout the health system.
The candidate will actively contribute as a team member of the Radiology IT Data Delivery team, assisting in fulfilling research and administrative data requests. They will work closely with other IT personnel, PACS personnel, Clinical Department Managers, Researchers and Radiologists to identify and meet data needs within clinical, educational and research workflows.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data analytics, a strong understanding of enterprise imaging systems and radiology workflows, and excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with various stakeholders, including IT personnel, clinical staff, and department managers. Experience with data governance and compliance in a healthcare setting is desirable.
