The interview process will consist of an initial 30-45 minute screening interview and one or two additional interviews for select candidates. Additionally, samples of relevant work may be requested. 

Job Summary

The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning seeks an engaging, creative, strategic events manager. Reporting to the assistant dean for advancement, (our organizational chart), you will lead the planning and oversight of events such as commencement and homecoming activities, the distinguished lecturer series, faculty-conceived multi-day conferences and symposia, book talks, local and regional alumni events, and donor related events. You will manage one team member, the meetings and special events planner.  

This hybrid job is situated in Ann Arbor and on-campus work is expected at least three days a week (may occasionally be more depending on event needs), with a few offsite weeks throughout the academic year and an offsite period from mid-May to mid-August.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor transparency throughout the recruiting process.
